We’re Off To See Some Family Films

More great classic children’s films will be screened throughout November at Lancaster’s Dukes cinema.

As the theatre gears up for its festive production of Aladdin, the Disney version can be enjoyed on the big screen this Friday and Saturday, November 3 and 4.

Then The Iron Giant pays a visit on November 11 in this charming adaptation of the Ted Hughes classic tale of a boy who forms an unlikely friendship with a giant alien robot.

Disney’s Robin Hood is screened on November 18 followed by one of the most loved big screen family musicals of all time – Wizard of Oz on November 25.

All screenings at the award-winning cinema begin at 1.30pm apart from Wizard of Oz which starts at 11am. All tickets are priced £2.50.

The Dukes is also providing free craft sessions to anyone going along to watch the films. They start from 12pm before the 1.30pm films and 10am before the 11am films.

The feast of family film fun continues into December with The Cat Returns(December 2); The Muppet Christmas Carol(December 16); A Nightmare Before Christmas(December 23) and Paddington 2(dates to be confirmed).
