Pagefast keeps going

The 5th of December will shortly be upon us and most of us Lancastrians will cast our minds back to ‘that Saturday’ two years ago when the rain started and simply didn’t stop.

The location of Pagefast on the Caton Road placed us in the epicentre of the Desmond devastation and when MD Keith Simpson finally got to the unit he found the business he had built over three decades under three feet of water. The litho press, the heart of the business, was destroyed along with nearly all of the finishing equipment. The days and weeks that followed were chaotic but they kept working as best they could and finally six months later they ran the first job on their new Komori press.

Two years on and Pagefast are going strong, in fact bigger and better. Their new state of the art equipment make them Lancaster’s largest commercial printer producing everything from brochures and magazines to menus and packaging.

If your business needs print then we would be delighted to help. Either give us a call on 01524 841 010 or simply drop in to the unit, we are always here in business hours and will be delighted to show you around and let you see what we can do.
