Lancaster University Community Day: Sessions for the business community

Lancaster University’s Community Day is taking place on the University campus from 11am to 4pm on Saturday 6th May. With over 80 different activities taking place on the day, there is something for people of all ages and interests, but these sessions might be of particular interest to you and your members.

Lancaster University’s Procurement Team presents: “How to Supply Lancaster University”

A 20 minute presentation with an opportunity to meet the buyers and ask questions.

Sessions take place: 11.00am, 11.45am and 12.30pm

Start Up Stories

Meet up with and hear more from some of our graduate and student entrepreneurs as they tell the stories of their start-up journeys, the highs and lows, their wins, their mistakes and their tips on surviving.

2.30pm: Welcome, Ruth Raban, Lancaster University Management School
2.35pm: Ze Macedo - Kaizen Academy
2.50pm: Henry Coggin and Ellen Hedley – Vida Creative
3.05pm: James Hadley – Loading Deck
3.20: Miriam Sturdee will demo illustrations of the talks above to the audience
3.30pm: Wrap up and close
