Lancaster BID searching of a part-time BID Marketing & Events Assistant
Lancaster BID Open Up New Role
After a very successful first year of being established as a company limited by guarantee, Lancaster BID are looking to recruit a part time Marketing & Events Assistant to complete their small team. The newly appointed role will carry out marketing & social media campaigns as well as being involved in the fantastic programme of events that Lancaster BID produce and support annually.
The role will comprise 16 hours a week, working in the BID office in the heart of Lancaster city centre. The BID team are looking for someone with experience in Marketing & Events, although full training and support will be given to the right candidate.
The newly appointed role will bring the Lancaster BID staffing team back up to the 2014 staffing levels of two full time employees. Lancaster BID currently employs BID Manager Rachael Wilkinson full time and BID Development Manager Tom Fyson on a part-time basis.
The successful candidate will aid the BID team in delivering the objectives set out by Lancaster BID in 2016 of making Lancaster a better place to live, work, visit, invest and do business in.
BID Manager Rachael Wilkinson said, “The Marketing & Events Assistant role is one that we have been looking to fill for some time, as we realised that social media and marketing initiatives can sometimes get stretched due to fluctuating priorities. Appointing a new person to fulfil this role will mean that there will be more time available to share good news stories about Levy Paying businesses and will enhance our digital and print communication efforts”.
