Lancashire’s LEADER Rural Funding Programme - July 2017

Now accepting new applications in the areas listed below. Open calls will remain open until all the funds are committed. Applications will be dealt with on a first come first served basis.

Enterprise
The Enterprise fund provides support for micro and small businesses (less than 49 full-time equivalent employees and non-agricultural) and farm diversification.

Farming
The Farming fund will support a wide range of farm investments. Particularly for farmers that want to invest in innovative business practices and new technologies.

Rural Services
The Rural Services fund provides support for rural community organisations looking to allevi-ate some of the difficulties faced by rural communities.

Cultural and Heritage
The Cultural and Heritage fund provides support for rural community organisations and land-owners to help to promote, enhance and maintain cultural heritage assets.

Forestry
The forestry funding is aimed at owners or tenants of private forestry holdings or micro, small and medium-sized forestry contracting businesses.

Tourism
The tourism funding is aimed at projects looking to undertake small scale developments, which build on the distinctiveness of rural Lancashire.

Growth Programme

Lancashire has been allocated £4.2 million of rural funding and is accepting calls for tourism projects and food processing projects. The funding is being delivered by the Rural Payments Agency.
