CancerCare seeks to appoint a Head of Income Generation

CancerCare seeks to appoint a Head of Income Generation to lead, manage and motivate our successful fundraising team to maximise opportunities for raising funds to deliver our range of professional cancer support services across North Lancashire & South Lakeland.

37.5 hours per week 5 days or 30 hours over 4 days

(flexible working to meet needs of the role)

£36k to £40k p/a depending on experience

Slynedales, Lancaster and Lakes Centre, Kendal

Responsibilities will include:

- Delivering the annual fundraising target across its range of funding streams and
implementing the CancerCare Income Generation strategy

- Actively leading on all fundraising work and proactively manage the day -to-day work of the Income Generation Team

- Ensuring all fundraising practice complies with appropriate legislation and regulation

- Supporting the overall strategic direction of the charity and taking responsibility for the Income Generation sub-committee.

The successful post holder must have significant management experience in a senior fundraising role and a proven track record of delivering fundraising success within the charity sector. Candidates must have excellent communication & project management skills and an ability to build key relationships with staff, volunteers, supporters and major donors.
