Breakfast Briefing Invitation
Local Plan for Lancaster District - Economic Growth in Lancaster District
Wednesday 8th March 2017, 8am – 9am, Lancaster Town Hall, Reception Room
Lancaster City Council are currently consulting on a draft Local Plan for Lancaster District. A key element of the Local Plan is to identify opportunities for future growth within the district for both housing and employment. In relation to economic growth, the draft Local Plan identifies a range of new sites for employment purposes in South Heysham, North Lancaster and Bailrigg Garden Village alongside the protection of existing employment sites which still continue to have economic value.
The current draft status of the Local Plan means that the council are still keen for the document to be influenced by the views of the community, for example the views of the local business community.
Therefore the council would like to invite you to a special business event on Wednesday 8th March at Lancaster Town Hall. The event will involve a presentation from Council Officers and an opportunity for questions on the content and direction of the draft Local Plan.
Places are limited. Please confirm attendance by Friday 3rd March 2017 to firstname.lastname@example.org
