Time: 09:30 - 16:30 This qualification will provide candidates with a basic knowledge of health and safety in the workplace, including the duties of employees and employers under UK health and safety legislation. There is an examination at the conclusion of the course and a certificate is awarded on completion of the training, which is valid for three years and has H.S.E approval. - The health and Safety Display Screen Equipment (Regulations 1992)
- The Personal Protective Equipment (Regulations 1992)
- The Provision and Use of Work Equipment (Regulations 1992)
- The Manual Handling Operations (Regulations 1992)
- The Workplace Health and Safety Welfare (Regulations 1992)
- The Health and Safety First Aid (Regulations 1981)
In 2004, in the UK, 40 million working days were lost as a result of occupational injury and ill-health. Yet most injuries and incidents of ill-health can be avoided. Cost includes a student pack, Sandwich Lunch and Certification per delegate.
