How well would your business cope with disruption? It’s easy to believe that Business Continuity is only for large national companies. But with floods, snow and ice disrupting business across the Northwest this winter, many local businesses have suffered significant financial loss. This briefing session will introduce SMEs to the concept of Business Continuity Management and outline the benefits to having a practical plan to manage disruption. This session will: · Provide an overview of Business Continuity Management (BCM) · Highlight the relevance and benefits of BCM to small businesses · Illustrate continuity problems and lessons learned through input from local business owners · Offer advice on how to create business continuity plans for your business · Show how a sound Business Continuity Plan can influence lower insurance premiums · Demonstrate how Business Interruption Insurance can support the business continuity process. The presenters will be Glyn Jones, Business Development Manager of Savant, Emily Thompson, MD of Living Continuity and Duncan Woodcock MA, MD of Reid Hamilton Insurance Brokers. Event/Course Cancellation Policy - Unless otherwise notified, refunds will only be given if cancellation is received, in writing, at least one week (7 days) prior to the date of the event/course.
