Emergency First Aid at Work Course
Are you meeting the Health & Safety at Work Act recommendations for First Aid in your Workplace?
Swift application of simple procedures can save life and this is the essence of First Aid. The course teaches these life saving skills in a short course enabling the First Aider to take the necessary action in an EMERGENCY until qualified help can be called.
After completing a final assessment successfully candidates will receive a certificate deeming you competent and safe as an emergency first aider so you will need to take part in the practical parts of the course. Certification is valid for three years.
This is a practical course so appropriate clothing should be worn.

HABC Level 2 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (QCF)
This qualification is aimed at learners who wish to become emergency first-aiders in the workplace.
The role and responsibilities of a first aider:
- Able to manage an unresponsive casualty who is not breathing normally
- Able to manage a casualty with external bleeding
- Managing a casualty with a minor injury
- Unresponsive casualty but breathing normally
- Unresponsive casualty not breathing
